A superb large
Portland stone Georgian fireplace..reputedly from Abbotsbury Castle Dorset,now
demolished..I bought this fireplace from Dorset,and although I have no
documentary proof that this fireplace came from there..it obviously came from
somewhere of importance...it is all hand chiselled and carved,and really needs
a house of some stature to display it properly,the fireplace would look better
with a colour matched mortar for the sections...and the joints should really be
much smaller ,so that they can hardly be seen .....anyhow... I am
moving and the fireplace is not going to be left here so anyone interested,get
in touch,it has to go.....help with dismantling can be arranged,and even
delivery
